Subrogation

In many instances, an insurer has a statutory right to subrogation against the responsible third party, insurer, or uninsured person. The attorneys at MTPD regularly litigate subrogation claims against the responsible party seeking to reimburse our client for any claims paid. MTPD is often retained by the Michigan Automobile Insurance Placement Facility to seek reimbursement against a responsible insurer or uninsured motorist whose wrongful denial of a claim or failure to be lawfully insured has resulted in a claim to be made through the Michigan Assigned Claims Plan.
